Authorities in Detroit have successfully located 15-year-old Kenya Parker, who had originally been reported missing from her home since last Wednesday. The Detroit Police Department's Missing Persons unit has expressed gratitude to everyone who assisted in the search.
After leaving her home without permission, details about Kenya's height, weight, and distinctive blonde and red shoulder-length locs were widely shared to assist in her search. In a statement issued by the Detroit Police and reported by ClickOnDetroit, Kenya, a 5'5" girl weighing 130 pounds, was last seen on the 19300 block of McCormick Street. She was wearing a white sweater and black leggings when she disappeared.
A social media post from the Detroit Police Department's Missing Persons unit announced that Kenya Parker has been found.
