The initial crash involved vehicles pulling to the side of the highway to exchange information when a pickup truck, traveling at what was described as a high rate of speed, collided with the stopped vehicles. "The force of that collision threw the victim into the interstate, and multiple cars ran him over," according to Trooper Sherri Mendez, as per The Denver Post. In a tragic turn of events, the man was pronounced dead at the scene, with his identity yet to be disclosed by the authorities.
