According to FOX 10 Phoenix, Rogers was decorating her family's Christmas tree in the living room when the tragedy struck. She passed away nearly a week later yesterday.
Glendale Police have yet to formally identify the individuals in the car, but they were detained and eventually released pending further investigation. Police believe that speed and impairment may have played a critical role in causing the crash.
