A recent recovery operation along the shores of Lake Michigan has ended in solemnity with the identification of a body as that of a boater missing from Illinois. The deceased was discovered last Friday, according to FOX 17 News, near Pentwater in Oceana County.
The Michigan State Police, without revealing personal details at the family's request, confirmed the identification, "This is a very tragic time for this family, and they are asking for privacy as they grieve their tremendous loss," a statement that was also resonated by FOX 2 Detroit.
