
Earlier today, a fire broke out in East Hollywood's row of bungalows, eliciting a swift response from the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD). According to the LAFD ALERT, the incident, identified as INC#0533, began at 09:06 AM at 1526 N Serrano Avenue. Firefighters arrived to find flames emerging from one unit and quickly moved to an offensive approach to tackle the blaze.
The fire affected a one-story row of bungalows, and despite the rapid spread of the flames, which ultimately impacted three units, the LAFD managed to successfully extinguish the fire in a brief timeframe. A "KNOCKDOWN" update provided by the LAFD and posted on their official website stated that "34 firefighters extinguished the fire in 17 minutes."
During the firefighting efforts, the teams transported a 46-year-old male in unknown condition for medical treatment, as per the LAFD update. Additionally, it was confirmed that both primary and secondary searches of the affected units were clear, indicating no further victims were found at the time.
