On an early October morning, Lake Havasu City Police Department's Special Investigations Unit made an arrest following a traffic stop that led to a significant methamphetamine seizure. According to a press release from the department, 52-year-old Lake Havasu City resident Raymond Martinez was pulled over in the vicinity of SR95 and Retail Center Boulevard at around 4:43 a.m. on October 26.

Detectives, with assistance from K-9 "Echo," discovered approximately 37 grams of methamphetamine in Martinez's vehicle, the street sale value of which is estimated at around $1,110. As a result of the operation, Martinez was subsequently arrested on suspicion of possession of dangerous drugs for sale as well as possession of drug paraphernalia, as reported by Lake Havasu City.

Following his arrest, Martinez faced a judge at his initial appearance and was slapped with a $10,000 bond. He remains in custody with the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office as the legal gears begin to turn, Sergeant Kyle Ridgway of the Lake Havasu City Police Department confirmed in a statement.
