
A fast-moving blaze that consumed parts of a Woodland Hills residence on Sylvan Street last evening was tamed by the quick response of the Los Angeles Fire Department. According to an alert from the LAFD, the fire reportedly started in the garage before reaching the attic of the single-story home. The incident, which has been cataloged as INC#1560, occurred at 23016 W Sylvan St, with the fire department being alerted at around 8:14 PM. Efforts to knock down the fire were successful, as the LAFD has reported that it took just 22 minutes to extinguish the flames.
