
A woman was charged with DUI in Downtown Memphis after her car nearly took a tumble from the third floor of a parking garage. The incident, which occurred on Thursday involved a 2024 Ford Bronco dangling precariously over the street below. Kelly Churion, 37, was identified as the driver.
Police arrived at the scene at the corner of South Second Street and Union Avenue at approximately 9:47 p.m. to find the vehicle hanging from the garage wall. According to the Memphis Police Department's Facebook page, officers reported that upon arrival, their investigation revealed that Churion had struck the garage wall. Charged with DUI, public intoxication, and reckless endangerment, Churion underwent a field sobriety test, which further led to a blood draw.
According to a news report from WREG, Churion has admitted to owning the vehicle. Details surrounding the circumstances that led to the near-catastrophic incident have not been fully disclosed. The bond for her release had not been set as of the latest updates provided by the authorities.

The location of the mishap, a parking garage on Second Street at Union Avenue, saw the Bronco's front wheels hanging over the street, while the rear remained inside the structure.
