The Metropolitan Police Department is asking the public to help identify two individuals involved in a robbery on Monday night. The incident occurred around 11:51 p.m. on the 500 block of C Street, Northwest. A victim was approached by two suspects, one with a gun, who demanded their belongings. The suspects took the victim's property and fled in a black sports coupe with tinted windows and black rims.
Investigations into the robbery are currently underway, and the MPD is urging anyone with knowledge of the suspects' identities, or other information related to this crime, to come forward. Officials advise against taking direct action but rather recommend contacting police at (202) 727-9099.
Tips can also be submitted anonymously through the Department's TEXT TIP LINE by messaging 50411. "The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent crime committed in the District of Columbia," the Washington Metropolitan Department stated.
