An array of suspects have been arrested in conjunction with these recoveries, facing multiple charges ranging from possession of unregistered firearms and ammunition to intent to distribute controlled substances while armed. Noteworthy recoveries, like the Glock 22 .40 caliber handgun found in the 1600 block of Lamont Street, Northwest, and the subsequent arrest of 20-year-old Brayan Giron-Ferman, illustrate the tangible outcomes of the MPD's dedicated pursuit against illicit weapon possession.
