The Los Angeles Police Department has arrested 72-year old Konstantin Yedigaraov, a violin teacher operating out of his Northridge home, on allegations of sexual assault involving a minor. According to CBS News Los Angeles, Yedigaraov was booked into jail on November 14th with bail set at $50,000.
The arrest has prompted a search for additional victims, with authorities urging anyone with relevant information to come forward. Departing from the safety of anonymity, victims are given the means to share their experiences securely. In a statement obtained by KTLA, detectives believe that there may be other victims who have not yet stepped forth.
LAPD has circulated a photograph of Yedigaraov with the hopes of helping potential victims come forward and aid the ongoing investigation. The LAPD news release, as cited by LAPD Online, “believes there are additional, unidentified victims of Yedigaraov who have yet to come forward.” Investigators are seeking to identify and speak with any additional victims.
