The New York Police Department has taken to social media to solicit help from the community in capturing suspects linked to two robberies in Manhattan. According to a post by NYPD Crimestoppers on Facebook, the individual or individuals in question are wanted for crimes committed on November 1, in the bustling precincts of NYPD14 and NYPD18.
Both incidents occurred in high-profile areas—one in front of 1535 Broadway and the other at the intersection of Park Avenue and E29 Street. As the search intensifies, the NYPD has not only shared images of the perpetrators via social media but has also announced a reward of up to $3,500 for information that could lead to arrest. In the public bulletin, NYPD urges anyone with information to call at 800-577-TIPS or to submit tips online through their Crimestoppers website.
For those in the community wishing to assist, anonymity is an available option. The Crimestoppers program assures confidentiality for anyone uncomfortable with disclosing their identity.
