According to ClickOnDetroit, the incident occurred around 3:45 p.m. on Monday when the man in question offered the students a ride. The children did not engage with the individual and, upon reaching home, reported the encounter to a trusted adult.
The Bloomfield Township Police Department acted swiftly to address the community’s concern, leading to the identification and questioning of the man involved. "After a thorough investigation, there is no indication that any criminal activity occurred," the department reported, as per ClickOnDetroit. Despite the unsettling nature of the approach, authorities have assured the public that the issue has been resolved satisfactorily, with no threat posed to the community.
Initial details of the individual described him as a white male between the ages of 35 and 45, with a mustache and driving a light-colored pickup truck.
