A Jackson police sergeant suffered a gunshot wound under yonder grim circumstances, though officials have stated he is in good condition.
Authorities succeeded in halting the suspect's vehicle near the intersection of Van Dorn and Elizabeth streets, under a mile from where the pursuit began. "Multiple shots were fired at pursuing officers and deputies while the suspect attempted to get away," said the Jackson County Sheriff's Office, as per CBS News Detroit.
