According to KTLA, emergency responders rushed to the intersection of Palos Verdes Boulevard and South Catalina Avenue shortly after 11:15 p.m. to reports of a devastating solo-vehicle crash.
Upon arrival and after somehow losing control, firefighters found a vehicle engulfed in flames due to hitting a light pole. The male driver of the vehicle was declared deceased at the scene, while a female passenger managed to sustain only minor injuries, reported ABC7.
The specifics of the driver's fatal injuries were horrific, with OnScene.TV, a freelance media firm on location, detailed that the driver had been ejected and then decapitated on impact, as per KTLA.
