In a coordinated law enforcement effort, Seattle Police apprehended three individuals last Friday, linking them to a rash of armed robberies across Seattle and nearby areas. According to an update from the SPD Blotter, the suspects, aged 21, 19, and 11, were reportedly involved in multiple incidents where they used firearms to swiftly ambush businesses, making off with both cash and merchandise before fleeing in stolen vehicles.

An additional robbery linked to the trio occurred last Friday evening, prompting a high-speed chase starting around 8:30 p.m. Tukwila Police pursued the suspects in a silver Hyundai into Seattle’s First Hill neighborhood. Multiple law enforcement agencies were involved in the pursuit, which crossed various jurisdictions and included the King County Sheriff’s Office, Washington State Patrol, and Tukwila Police Department. The suspects eventually abandoned their vehicle around Spring Street and Harvard Avenue and attempted to flee on foot.

A combination of police units, including the Community Response Group (CRG), South, East, Southwest, and K9 Unit, alongside the King County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) Guardian One, KCSO K9, and Tukwila PD, effectively contained the area. This concerted effort resulted in the capture of all three suspects, notably 'without incident,' but no firearms were found at the time of the arrest.

Following the pursuit and capture, two of the suspects were booked into King County Jail, while the youngest was detained at the Judge Patricia H. Clark Children & Family Justice Center. These bookings were specifically for the investigation of robbery. The continued efforts to unravel the series of crimes will be under the purview of the Seattle Police Robbery Unit.
