According to the NWS latest update provided on a brisk but fair morning, locals can expect a high near 79 degrees today with light, variable winds—a nod to the mild winters characteristic of the Sunshine State.
Under clear skies tonight, the temperature is expected to drop to around 58 degrees. With light winds, a light jacket may be needed for those out in the evening. On Wednesday, the sun will stay out, with temperatures rising to a comfortable 80 degrees and gentle southwest breezes around 5 mph in the afternoon.
Thanksgiving Day itself offers a clear sky with a high near 80 degrees as families converge over turkey and gratitude. Likewise, calm winds shifting southwest will grace morning parades and outdoor festivities. As evening falls on Thanksgiving, a blanket of partly cloudy conditions will lower to a cozy low around 64 degrees, as per the NWS forecast.
On Friday, there’s a slight 20% chance of showers after 1 pm, with a high around 75 degrees and partial sunshine. The wind will shift from the south southwest to the north northwest in the afternoon, bringing a cool low of about 53 degrees overnight. The weekend will bring more sunshine, with highs in the low 70s and lows in the low 50s, making for pleasant post-holiday weather. By Monday, those heading back to work or school will enjoy sunny skies and a high of around 63 degrees.
