Early on Monday in Needles, California, a report of an incident involving a domestic disturbance led to the arrest of three individuals on charges of child endangerment.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, deputies were called to a location on Lillyhill Drive around 2:55 a.m. after receiving a report of a male assaulting a female and apparently forcing her into an apartment under distress; during the response, officers discovered Guadalupe Lozano, 35, along with Josephine Baumgartner and Johanna Baumgartner, both 23, inside the residence with an infant child.
Following the execution of a search warrant as noted in the department's press release, Lozano was apprehended on charges including child endangerment under Penal Code 273A(a) and domestic violence, while the Baumgartners were also taken into custody over allegations of endangering the welfare of a child.
All three suspects have been booked into the Colorado River Station jail with bail set at $100,000.00 each; the details of the victim related to this event have been kept confidential, but the department encourages anyone with information to get in touch with Deputy M.
