A Tulsa man has been given a 70-month prison sentence for his recent spree of burglaries in Indian Country, as per an announcement from U.S. Attorney Clint Johnson. The judgement was handed down by U.S. District Judge Sara E. Hill, who also mandated a subsequent three-year term of supervised release and restitution payment exceeding $3,200.

On November 16, 2023, between the early hours of 5 a.m. and 9:30 a.m, Mark Alfred Foreman, 38, engaged in a series of illegal forays, invading two homes and four vehicles in Tulsa. According to a statement from the U.S. Attorney's Office, Foreman utilized destructive methods during his burglaries. While being chased by the Tulsa Police officers, Foreman crashed into a fence, and after a brief foot chase, a K-9 officer found and detained him.

Alongside Foreman, his girlfriend played a role in the crime series, assisting him during the string of burglaries. The Tulsa County District Attorney's office charged and later convicted her. She was detained on the same day for her participation.

Foreman, identified as a member of the Sac and Fox Nation, is set to be transferred to the U.S. Bureau of Prisons where he will serve his time. This case was investigated thoroughly by the Tulsa Police Department and brought forward by Assistant U.S. Attorney Stephen Flynn, who prosecuted the case.
