
A tragic outbreak of violence disrupted a Wilmington neighborhood yesterday when a barrage of gunfire killed a young man and wounded three others. The incident occurred around lunchtime on the 1300 block of East 28th Street, prompting first responders to rush to the scene, according to NBC Philadelphia.
The first victim, a 22-year-old man, was found with severe injuries and, despite urgent medical efforts, was pronounced dead after being rushed to a local hospital. Two other survivors, a 21-year-old and a 20-year-old man, are reported to be stable, while a 34-year-old man is in critical condition and fighting for his life, as reported by CBS News.
Detectives are investigating the motives and events behind the shooting but have not shared details about what caused it or identified any suspects.
