
Wilmington police have confirmed that the individual who was found injured on November 1 has died as a result of a stabbing. In a statement, authorities identified the victim as Tyler Ponzo and are actively seeking information from the public to assist in the ongoing investigation.

The original call that led to the discovery of Ponzo was for a welfare check at the 1900 block of West 4th Street. First responders found Ponzo unresponsive with a severe arm laceration at around 11:24 p.m. on November 1. He was hastily transported to the hospital, yet despite medical efforts, succumbed to his injuries.
