A woman was shot multiple times while sitting in her car in downtown Los Angeles, and detectives are now calling upon the public to help identify the shooter. The Los Angeles Police Department released information that the shooting occurred on October 30 at approximately 5:30 p.m. near the 300 block of North Figueroa Street, according to FOX LA.

Police say the woman was waiting to pick up her brother from work when she was ambushed by a man riding a moped. Described as a male Hispanic between 30-40 years old, the suspect was reported to be wearing a bright yellow vest, full face mask, and gloves, as detailed by FOX LA. Riding the moped, wearing a bright yellow vest, the man shot her several times.

The victim was quickly attended to by the Los Angeles Fire Department's paramedics and transported to a local hospital where her condition was stabilized. As of now, it remains unclear if there was any known connection between the victim and the suspect.
