
The Metropolitan Police Department reported the arrest of a 20-year-old suspect in connection with a robbery attempt and assault that occurred last month. The incident involved two victims who were threatened at knifepoint on the evening of November 17 in the 800 block of L Street, Northwest.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department's release, Isis Lee has been charged with Assault with Intent to Rob after allegedly demanding property from the victims and assaulting them when they did not comply. The attack came to a halt as the suspects fled the scene, ultimately leaving without the victims' belongings.
Detailed detective work led to Lee's arrest, however, the case has not been closed as the investigation continues. Authorities have urged anyone who might be able to identify the suspects or can offer any details pertinent to the case to call police at (202) 727-9099, or to send a text to the department's TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.
The Metropolitan Police Department is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction of the person or persons behind this and other violent crimes committed in the District of Columbia.
