UPDATE: In a recent development in Baldwin Park, homicide detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department have taken a suspect into custody in connection with the deaths of three individuals. According to the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Dept Information Bureau, a 23-year-old Asian male, who was initially deemed a person of interest and is related to the victims, has been arrested and booked for murder.
The initial report, made on Thursday around 6:48 p.m., led to a response from homicide investigators at the scene on the 4700 block of Bogart Avenue. The victims, two females, and one male, were found deceased. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, which continued to assist the Baldwin Park Police Department through the course of the investigation, has yet to disclose further information, adhering to privacy concerns and the integrity of the ongoing investigation.
As the investigation proceeds, it has been stated that findings will be presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office for consideration of charges. The department has further pledged to release detailed information after the case undergoes review by the DA's office, as per the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Meanwhile, the identities and causes of death of the three victims will be determined by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner.
