
Police are searching for a suspect involved in an armed robbery in Northwest D.C. earlier this week, an incident that has disturbed residents and visitors on the 2700 block of 14th Street.
According to details provided by the Metropolitan Police Department, the suspect, armed with a handgun, entered an establishment and demanded money on Wednesday, around 7:20 p.m., after which he successfully made away with a sum of US currency and, as police continued their search for the suspect, a reward of up to $10,000 is offered for information that might lead to arrest and conviction.
Community members with any knowledge regarding the incident are urged by the police to refrain from engaging and direct their tips to the authorities by calling (202) 727-9099 or by texting the Metropolitan Police Department's TEXT TIP LINE at 50411, the aim is to harness community insights without compromising citizen safety or disrupting ongoing investigations.
