However, when the vehicle came to an abrupt stop after one of the passengers put the car in park, two of the occupants cooperated with the police while Mills continued to disobey orders before she was apprehended.

The investigation revealed that the two passengers had only recently been picked up by Mills and were not tied to the crimes she was accused of committing. Mills now faces a long list of charges, including two counts of kidnapping, two counts of aggravated assault, battery, second-degree criminal damage to property, willful obstruction, interference with government property, and disorderly conduct. She was also wanted on an active arrest warrant from an outside jurisdiction at the time of her arrest. Mills is currently being held at the Gwinnett County Jail.
