
Authorities have reported an arrest in connection to a shooting incident in the city's Northwest District. The social media post confirmed that 26-year-old Charles Ward, 3rd, a resident of Baltimore, has been charged with attempted first-degree murder following a shooting yesterday. The victim, a 23-year-old male, was found with a gunshot wound to the left thigh inside a residence in the 3600 block of Bowers Avenue. After responding to the scene, officers arrested Ward at the spot without incident. He has since been taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility, according to the Baltimore Police Department's post.

The initial call to law enforcement occurred at approximately 9:29 a.m. on the day of the incident. Alongside the apprehension of the suspect, the officers managed to recover a handgun involved. Listed in stable condition at a local hospital, the victim's medical situation was rapidly attended to by emergency personnel.
