
A fire that broke out in a large multi-family building on Hazelton Street in Mattapan has been brought under control. The second-alarm blaze forced nine adults and five children to flee their homes, leaving them displaced in the frigid 20-degree weather gripping the city, according to a Boston Fire Department post on X.
