Residents of the area west of Jamestown can breathe a little easier tonight as the Boulder County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) has released new findings, indicating that the previously suspected suspicious death of a 49-year-old woman is no longer being considered as such. The BCSO's meticulous investigation has involved interviews and the execution of a search warrant, as noted in a recent update on the Sheriff's Office website.
Initially, the case began on Saturday when deputies responded to a report of a missing person on Ridge Road. Upon arrival, the discovery of the deceased triggered a probe under case number 24-06347. However, according to the Boulder County Sheriff's Office, "The Sheriff’s Office investigation into the circumstances of this death remains ongoing." The statement went on to assure the public that, "Following the initial phases of the investigation, which included interviews and the execution of a search warrant, the death no longer appears to be suspicious in nature."
Reiterating their commitment to due diligence regardless of the nature of the investigation, the Boulder County Sheriff's Office highlighted their adherence to procedural thoroughness. "As is standard practice, all death investigations are treated with the same level of thoroughness and care," stated Vinnie Montez, Public Information Officer, as per Boulder County Sheriff's Office.
