
In the wee hours of this morning, Douglas County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a call about a suspicious male attempting to gain access to parked cars in Highlands Ranch. The deputies encountered Adam Jackson, who initially cooperated but decided to run away, suddenly discarding a bag on his flight.
After a brief chase, Jackson was apprehended on Cactus Flower Way and Mountain Sage Drive. Despite his endeavors to quickly abandon the scene, deputies were able to catch up and detain the 38-year-old man from Centennial. According to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office, deputies found and collected items in his possession that were believed to have been taken from nearby vehicles and mailboxes.
Some of the recovered belongings were already returned to their rightful owners. Jackson now faces several charges, including vehicle trespass, carrying a concealed weapon, resisting arrest, and crimes tied to financial theft and identity compromise.
