
An explosion rocked Nawabi Hyderabad House in Concord on a recent Monday evening, injuring two individuals, as confirmed by the Concord Fire Department; firefighters were dispatched to the Lyles Lane NW location around 8:30 p.m. and upon arrival, discovered that an explosion had triggered the building's sprinkler system, however, they found no active flames, according to WBTV.
The restaurants interior bore the brunt of the explosion, with photographs showing holes puncturing the ceiling and strewn debris cluttering the once orderly dining area while two of those present were sent to a hospital sustaining non-fatal injuries and this series of unfortunate events unfolded near the bustling Concord Mills, leading to a rapid response from emergency personnel which included five Engine Companies, two Ladder Companies from Concord, and additional support from Charlotte Fire Department and Cabarrus County EMS, as reported by WCNC.
The cause behind the explosion currently remains a mystery, with the Concord Fire Department spearheading the investigation to unearth what set off such a violent reaction within the confines of Nawabi Hyderabad House, a restaurant known for its signature Indian cuisine, no public statements from the owners of the establishment were available at the time of the incident this according to the latest information provided by WSOC TV.
