
An educator from Charter Oak High School in Covina finds himself at the center of grave allegations. Joshua Daniel McGinn, 41, has been charged with sexually assaulting two students, with the offenses purportedly commencing in 2022. According to statements published by the KTLA following the news release by the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, McGinn's charges encompass numerous sexual crimes including four counts of oral copulation and sexual penetration by force.
Further detailing the charges, McGinn also faces accusations of a misdemeanor count of sexual battery, unlawful intercourse with a minor, contact with a minor for sexual offenses, and possession of illicit material involving minors. Arrested on December 18, his arraignment was scheduled on January 6, as noted by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s announcement. Found guilty, McGinn could serve a maximum sentence of 13 years and six months in prison.

District Attorney Nathan Hochman emphasized, “Prosecutors from our Sex Crimes Division are working tirelessly to ensure justice is served for the victims and their families."
