The spirit of entrepreneurship was celebrated through Mark Reese of B-52 Burgers and Brew, honored with the Bob Klas Sr. Entrepreneur Award. Reese's journey from a single restaurant to a multi-location empire with sales surpassing $11 million illustrates a steadfast commitment to both clientele and the local community. Highlighting the inclusive nature of workforce development, Grant VanWyngeeren and Neil Byce of CW Metals took home the Employer of the Year for People with Disabilities Award. Their work in supporting and hiring employees with disabilities, in collaboration with community partners, was commended.

Outstanding youth employment services were also recognized; Abbie Torbert of BTD Manufacturing received the Willis E. Branning Excellence in Youth Employment Services Award for Dakota County. According to the Dakota County publication, Torbert works "to preparing young people to enter the workforce" by connecting with students and offering them valuable career information and job opportunities. Meanwhile, Kim Wodtke earned the equivalent award for Scott County for her work with the Scott Carver Dakota CAP Agency Food Shelf and her commitment to equipping youth with essential job skills.
