Isolated thunderstorms are on the horizon, mainly to the east of the I-35 corridor today, with no severe weather expected, and this calm before the storm will give way as the next week draws on, the city will see a weather pattern with an 80 percent chance of showers and possibly a thunderstorm come Monday.
The outlook for the early part of the week seems dreary; Monday night's forecast hints at mostly cloudy skies a lingering 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, and gentle winds oscillating north to northeast after midnight, cooling the air to a 48-degree low, per the National Weather Service.
For Tuesday, the chance of showers and thunderstorms rears up again afternoon, albeit with only a 20 percent likelihood, and partly sunny skies will bring the temperature up to nearly 67 degrees, however, the slight increase in temperature will be accompanied by a 30 percent chance of showers mainly after midnight, the following day is set to contrast greatly with Wednesday's high predicted to be around 58 degrees under mostly sunny skies, but still keeping a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. The Hazardous Weather Outlook from the National Weather Service reiterates that there are no severe weather warnings in place, but it remains pivotal for locals to stay alert with the week's unpredictable weather patterns.
As the week progresses, the weather will begin to settle down; Thursday should be sunny with a high near 54 degrees, leading into a clear Thursday night with a low around 38. While the roller coaster of precipitation will taper, Friday caps off the week offering sunny skies and a high approaching 59 degrees, wrapping up what has been a weather pattern for the region.
