
An early morning blaze in North Austin has left a house severely damaged, local fire officials reported. The Austin Fire Department was called to the scene in the 200 block of West Caddo Street, not far from the intersection of North Lamar Boulevard and Braker Lane, after a neighbor noticed the fire shortly after 2 a.m. on Tuesday.
According to KVUE, firefighters upon arrival spotted flames emanating from the home's roof. The fire is believed to have started in a back bedroom, spreading rapidly into the attic and ultimately consuming a significant part of the structure. Fortunately, no individuals were reported to have been inside the premise at the time of the incident.

The severity of the fire caught the attention of local media, with CBS Austin capturing photos and videos showcasing the extensive damage with the top half of the house visibly charred.
