As the festive season unfolds, Fort Worth Animal Care & Control is chiming in with cheer, through its Home for the PAW-lidays adoption event. Scheduled on December 12 at the New City Hall, the event promises to connect animal enthusiasts with puppies, kittens, and adult animals in need of loving homes. For individuals considering the addition of a four-legged companion to their household, this event presents a perfect occasion.
According to a recent announcement on the City of Fort Worth's official website, the event will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Fort Worth City Hall, situated at 100 Fort Worth Trail. In the spirit of giving, adoption fees during the event will be waived, and each successful pet adoption will be commemorated with a gift bag, brimming with essentials for the new family member to settle into their home.
The holiday spirit goes beyond mere adoptions. In tune with the season's gift-giving tradition, Fort Worth Animal Care & Control invites the public to donate items such as bully sticks, Kongs, peanut butter, soft treats, Nylabones, and cat toys. These contributions are aimed at filling the stockings of the shelter animals and providing joyful moments while they await permanent homes.
