It's beginning to look a lot like an old-fashioned Christmas in Euless, Texas, as Heritage Park gears up for its annual holiday celebration. On December 14, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., families are invited to step back in time and get into the festive spirit at the city's storied historical park, located at 201 Cullum Dr.
According to the City of Euless, visitors will have the opportunity to explore several historic sites including the Himes Log House, McCormick Barn, Fuller House, and the Euless Heritage Museum. And, of course, what's Christmas without a little face time with the big man in red? Santa Claus will be making an appearance, ready to hear the holiday wishes of kids and those who are kids at heart.
The event isn't just a walk-through history lesson, though. Expect the sounds of Christmas songs performed by local school choirs to fill the air—adding a soundtrack to the day's festivities. Moreover, event-goers can channel their inner artist by creating holiday ornaments. While these activities might be worth the trip alone, the inclusion of kettle corn for sale, and free refreshments, only sweeten the deal.
