
The Houston Police Department has issued a call for public assistance in identifying suspects linked to a recent armed robbery at a South Houston smoke shop. According to Houston PD’s Robbery Division, the incident occurred in broad daylight on October 5, around 1:45 pm.
The report details how two male suspects entered the business at the 4300 block of W. Fuqua, one of them brandishing a handgun and demanding cash. After obtaining money from the registers, along with various merchandise, they fled the scene in an unspecified direction. Furthermore, another individual, a male who previously made a purchase and who held the door for the assailants while exchanging words, is being sought as a person of interest in connection with the robbery.
Descriptions of the suspects have been released to aid in their capture. The first suspect is described as a Black male in his late teens to early 20s, with a thin build, wearing a gray Pioneers basketball pullover and black pants. Suspect number two matches a similar age and build, also a Black male, was seen wearing a gray hoodie with black pants. The third man, a person of interest, is described as a Black male with a thin build, dressed in a black, blue, and white polo shirt paired with gray pants.
To apprehend those responsible, Crime Stoppers of Houston is offering a reward for information. They assure that informants can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash payment of up to $5,000 if their tip leads to a charge and/or arrest of any felony suspect.
