Forecasters say Saturday will be the coldest day of the week, with highs in the upper 50s. "Friday will be fantastic! We will have low humidity, light winds and sunshine! Our temperatures will be in the 60s with mostly sunny skies," as reported by the National Weather Service and Click2Houston.
The weather in Houston leading up to Christmas will be mostly sunny and mild. A cold front will bring showers and thunderstorms on Christmas Eve, mainly from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., but "We’re not seeing anything at this early stage that would indicate any severe weather, mainly just some noisy storms from generally 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. from north to south." By Christmas morning, the weather should clear up, with mild temperatures in the lower 70s. "If this is the case, Christmas should shape up to be wonderful!" The weekend will be sunny, with temperatures in the 60s, as stated by Click2Houston.
Tuesday’s weather will be partly sunny with a 40% chance of rain in the afternoon. "Christmas Day, A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly sunny, with a high near 70," according to the National Weather Service. There’s no chance of a white Christmas this year, and temperatures will stay above average. "The forecast will likely adjust over the next few days so expect to see some changes as we get new information," forecasters at Click2Houston said. Temperatures will be lower than the record 83° set in 2015.
