
An investigation is underway after authorities discovered a deceased person near a Metro station in Compton. Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department deputies responded to the 1900 block of S. Acacia Avenue on a grim Sunday morning at approximately 11:40 a.m., following reports of a death nearby the Metro Artesia station, as reported by CBS News Los Angeles.
The identity of the deceased, a male adult, has not been released as the investigation continues. On arriving, deputies found the body and the Los Angeles County Fire paramedics, having come, pronounced the male dead at the scene. According to a press release by the Sheriff's Information Bureau, no further details have been made available surrounding the events that led to the man's death.
