
Firefighters swiftly handled a blaze in Harbor City on Sunday morning at a local Jack in the Box. The fire was reported at 1724 W Pacific Coast Highway, according to the LAFD.
The LAFD's coordination was effective, deploying 31 firefighters to manage the situation without any reported injuries. The intensity of their response, competently carried out by units including FS 85 and Batt 6, ensured that flames did not spread beyond the initial area. "It took just 21 minutes for 31 LAFD firefighters to extinguish a fire confined to the fryer area of a one story commercial doing business as Jack in the Box," detailed a report on the LAFD's website.
Ensuring the safety of both patrons and workers, the team included companies like E238, E285, E36, E48, E85, RA38, RA85, T38, and T85. Jennifer Middleton of the LAFD provided updates confirming no reported injuries from the incident. Battalions 13 and 6, along with South Bureau and Council District 15, also responded to the emergency.
