Los Angeles Police are on the hunt for a driver after a hit-and-run in Koreatown left two pedestrians severely injured last month. The incident occurred on the night of November 18 near the intersection of Western Avenue and Monette Avenue. The victims, a 27-year-old man, and a 28-year-old woman, were struck by a gray Toyota Camry while trying to cross the street. According to the LAPD's news release, the driver failed to stop and provide aid, continuing southbound on Western Avenue.
Details provided by KTLA include a dashcam video from a nearby bus that captured the harrowing moment of the crash, showing the victims waiting in a center divider lane before being hit. Paramedics transported the injured parties to a nearby hospital, where they received treatment for serious injuries, including internal bleeding and broken bones.
