Tonight, the likelihood of rainfall decreases to a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly occurring before 9 pm. The temperature is expected to drop to a low around 47 degrees, with winds shifting from west to northeast as the night progresses. New precipitation amounts could range between a tenth and a quarter of an inch, potentially higher during thunderstorms, as detailed by the National Weather Service.
Heading into Tuesday, the chance of showers continues at 30 percent, primarily after noon, with partly sunny skies forecasted and a high of around 61 degrees. The wind, originating from the northeast, will maintain a mild 5 mph, turning east southeast later in the day. The persistence of rain into the midweek appears likely.
By Tuesday night, the chance of precipitation increases to 80 percent, with showers and potentially a thunderstorm before giving way to steadier rainfall after midnight. The temperatures will hover around 58 degrees. Wednesday's forecast threatens more showers and possibly a thunderstorm with temperatures expected to drop throughout the day. Despite the advent of more sunlight later in the week, with an expected sunny Thursday and a clear night, temperatures are projected to stay on the cooler side.
