On Wednesday, two further arrests were made as part of the ongoing pursuit to curb vehicle-related infractions in the district. Indya Cole, 19, from Upper Marlboro, MD, and Jayson Kent, 22, of Capitol Heights, MD, were held following incidents on the 4000 block of South Capitol Street, SW, as per the police release.

The effort to address the spike in unauthorized vehicle use cases culminated on Thursday, with several juvenile males, ranging from 15 to 17 years old, apprehended. The incidents, all recorded under the same case number, took place in the 1200 block of 4TH Street, NW, as listed in the official police statement. The ages and residences of the individuals were also shared, with the respective last known addresses spanning across Northwest, Southeast, and Southwest, DC.
