The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting in Northeast DC. The incident, which resulted in the death of 23-year-old Mekhi Vaughn, occurred last Friday night at approximately 11:03 p.m. on the 100 block of 33rd Street, Northeast.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department report, officers from the Sixth District arrived at the scene and found Vaughn, who was later pronounced dead by DC Fire and EMS personnel.
The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking information from the public and is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for tips that lead to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrator(s).
