The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is actively searching for suspects involved in an armed robbery that took place on Sherman Avenue in Northwest, DC. The incident, which unfolded on Saturday, November 23, 2024, occurred in broad daylight, shortly before noon.
As reported by MPD's official statement, the suspects approached the victim around 11:40 a.m. on the 2800 block of Sherman Avenue. Displaying what appeared to be a handgun, the suspects quickly retrieved the victim’s property and subsequently made their escape from the scene.
Police are now reaching out to the public for assistance in identifying both the perpetrators and the getaway vehicle. The MPD has released video footage capturing the suspects and is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in connection with this crime.
