In the early hours of last Friday, two individuals perpetrated a burglary in Northwest, causing the Metropolitan Police Department to reach out to the local populace for assistance in identifying the culprits. According to a release published by the MPD, the incident occurred around 3:22 a.m. in the 1500 block of 9th Street, Northwest, where the duo unlawfully forced entry into an establishment by shattering the front door.
Property was reported stolen by the suspects, who quickly fled the scene. The community is being asked to assist in identifying them to help with their apprehension. The MPD is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for tips that lead to the arrest and indictment of the individuals responsible for the crime.
