The suspect reportedly threatened the victim with a firearm before taking a cell phone and earrings. During the incident, an accomplice acted as a lookout.
Authorities are asking for the public's aid in tracking down the suspects linked to this crime. As per the details provided by NYPD Crimestoppers, "an unknown individual approached the victim while inside the hallway of a residential building." The narrative goes on to describe the episode, painting a picture of fear in a space commonly regarded as a retreat from the clamor of city streets. A reward of up to $3,500 is offered for information leading to an arrest.
