Montgomery County police are on the lookout for a group involved in multiple thefts across Chevy Chase and Bethesda retail stores. As per a recent release by the county's police department, the string of incidents unfolded between August and November of this year, targeting CVS Pharmacies, a Target, and a Gap store, wherein suspects were seen on surveillance cameras lifting an undisclosed amount of merchandise without payment.

According to the Montgomery County Department of Police, the series of thefts began on August 11, at the CVS Pharmacy located at 3820 Chaplain Place. Subsequent thefts occurred at the Wisconsin Avenue Target on August 23, September 12, November 14, and November 24. Additionally, the Gap store was targeted on October 2. These incidents appear to follow a consistent pattern and have presented a challenge for local law enforcement responsible for securing commercial establishments.

Detectives have obtained and released video footage and images of ten suspects, and are now reaching out to the public for assistance in identifying the individuals behind these crimes. Community members with information that may help identify the suspects are encouraged to come forward. Tips can be submitted through the Crime Solvers of Montgomery County website or via the p3tips link. A reward of $250 to $10,000 is offered for tips that lead to an arrest, and individuals can remain anonymous to protect their privacy and security.
