In a violent turn of events in Whittier, four individuals were hospitalized following a large altercation that resulted in a stabbing incident early Sunday morning, as reported by KTLA. The Whittier Police Department indicated that the melee, involving "numerous individuals," occurred in the 7000 block of Greenleaf Avenue shortly after midnight.
Local authorities arrived at the chaotic downtown Whittier scene where businesses are usually bustling during the day, only to find four men with stab wounds at around 12:45 a.m. but their medical conditions have yet to be disclosed. CBS Los Angeles detailed that all victims were promptly transported to nearby hospitals.
